How to get here
Hohwacht is located in the Bay of Kiel, in the district of Plön, and is part of the Wagrien area in the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein.

Travel information
By car:
A1: From the A1, exit at 11-Oldenburg i.H.-Süd and follow the B202 heading towards Lütjenburg. After about 13 km, when you get to Kaköhl, turn right heading towards Hohwacht/Sehlendorf. After another 5 km turn right again heading towards Hohwacht, on a road called "Am Buchholz". After a further 650 metres, before you reach the first houses, turn left into Seestraße. Continue about 400 metres before you turn right into Dünenweg. After about 50 metres you will see our parking spaces, directly in front of Hotel Seeschlösschen.
A210/A215 (via the motorway A7): From A210 or A215, at the motorway junction Bordesholm, get in the proper lane for A 215 Kiel/Blumenthal. After about 20 km, at the exit 2 Kiel-Mitte, head towards Lübeck on the B202/B76. After about 11 km you get to Raisdorf. There you take the exit B202 heading towards Puttgarden/Oldenburg/Lütjenburg. After about 26 km, when you get to Kaköhl, turn left heading to Hohwacht/Sehlendorf. After another 5 km turn right again heading towards Hohwacht, on a road called "Am Buchholz". After a further 650 metres, before you reach the first houses, turn left into Seestraße. Continue about 400 metres before you turn right into Dünenweg. After about 50 metres you will see our parking spaces, directly in front of Hotel Seeschlösschen.
By train:
If you arrive by train, take the train to Hamburg main station, then the regional express (direction Lübeck), change in Lübeck to the regional train (direction Fehmarn-Burg) to Oldenburg/Holstein.
From Oldenburg/Holstein continue by taxi approx. 25-30 minutes to Hohwacht in our hotel.
